History

Arthur’s Funeral Chapels Inc. has been in service to the community for over 50 years.

In 2008, Arthur Dybanowski took over as the sole proprietor bringing over 10 years of experience in the funeral services industry

Arthur, born and raised in Poland, graduated from the Franciscan seminary of St. Maximilian Kolbe. After arriving in New York he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. John’s University. After realizing his dream he continued his studies at the American Academy McAllister Institute of Mortuary Science where he graduated with honors. While in school he worked at various funeral homes where under the guidance of experts took on the necessary experience.

Arthur lives and works in Greenpoint, where through involvement in community affairs and organizations, directs their efforts to improve the quality of life in this New York neighborhood.

Presently, as a result of our hard work, dedication and compassion for the deceased and their families, we are the most frequently chosen funeral home by the members of the Greenpoint community and beyond.
