Cremation information
“As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death.”

What is Cremation?
In essence, cremation is the transfiguration of the body to ashes with the use of high temperatures. During the entire process, the deceased is treated with care and respect.
Once the process is complete the remains of a loved one are placed in a special urn, which can then be placed in a specially designed niche in the cemetery mausoleum or be buried at a grave site.
Some families decide that they want to keep the ashes of their loved ones at home. Arthur’s Funeral Chapels Inc. offers a wide selection of urns in a variety of shapes and styles. Each urn is marked with a name plate containing the deceased’s name, date of birth, and death.
The immediate family may also dissipate the remains of a deceased person in a place of special importance or a burial at sea.
Our staff will inform you in detail about all the available options.
“Those who choose cremation typically have a belief that it is better to honor the memory of a person as opposed to the human remains.”
Cremation in no way precludes the traditional burial or funeral ceremony together with family, loved ones and friends. This ceremony can be personalized. This may reflect the life of the deceased, and thus have a special meaning for all present.
